You wouldn't have such a high fever with just allergies.

Sounds like a sinus infection.
Take ibuprofen every 4 hours.
Try Mucinex...it's like a miracle...it loosens phlegm & will help clear your nose & throat.

If you have yellow or green mucus it's definitely a bacterial infection & you should go to MD for culture & antibiotic & prescription decongestant...like Nasonex nasal spray (works great).

Drink plenty of fluids. lots of tea with honey & lemon.
Gargle with very warm salt water.
Gargle with Hydrogen peroxide (will feel weird beccause of bubbles).
Suck on Zinc lozenges. Suck on cough drops with eucalyptus.
Vit C 2000mg every 2 hours.
Zinc 50 mg.

For active immune system boost: Astragalus, goldenseal root (not more than 5 days in a row); echinecea.

Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, sounds like a sinus infection to me. You could even have both a sinus infection and a strep throat infection. Best get yourself to the doctor for a swab test to be certain and try not to infect anyone in the meanwhile... just in case! You might want to call your doctors office and see if you can't discuss this with them over the phone as vulnerable people (the elderly for example) you might cross paths with at the doctors office! haha

With such a fever it seems unlikely that it would just be simple allergies. Your allergies could have made you vulnerable and you may have had a cold or something and the sinusitis is a secondary infection.

Hope you feel better soon!

It is allergies. Just last week my allergies kicked up with the near same symptoms. My tip to you is to limit tissues or else you will get a sore under your nose, which won't be nice.
