you have probably pulled the long calf muscle that originates from the back of the bottom end of the femur. You cannot straighten your knee because that stretches the long calf muscle (gastrocnemius).

Take some anti-inflammatories, ice massage it for 10 minutes 3 times daily, and wear a shoe with as much high heel as you can bear.

If that doesn't work go see you GP for an ultrasound scan.

Go to the doctor. Jesus.

Guess what?
You have damaged you ligaments.
Doctor please ;)

It's probably sore from exercising. Did you stretch properly before you exercised?

Just stretch it out from time to time. It'll be fine.

It's probably a "Charley horse" or muscle cramps caused by not drinking enough water/not keeping hydrated during heavy physical activity. If you don't feel better after taking some fluids in, go to the doctor.

You've pulled a muscle. Take some painkillers and put a cold compress on your leg. Gentle warm ups in future will prevent a recurrence.

see a doc. if you're in uk phone nhs 24.

go the doc`s becky, sounds like you twisted a ligament.

Next time, stretch before you work out. DOn't put too much pressure on it, in fact keep off it and let it heal on it's own. I doubt a doctor will tell you any different.
