Is it okay to go to 80 degrees on a CPM machine?!

Question: I have two tubes in my knee...Its a drain (where the blood goes)
and a Pain pump.
I am scared and don't know if it will hurt my knee.
I had a microfracture, plica, and i think something release on my knee.

Thanks for all those who helped.
My surgery was on the 26th at 8 AM.

Yes, this is fine! the knob wouldn't even go to 80 if it could seriously hurt you. Heat really helps the muscles calm down and will help you heal. Just make sure it doesn't get too hot and it doesn't stay on 80 for a long amount of time. If you start to get red or hot, turn it down.

Heat really can't hurt anything inside your healing knee, unless it was something that could burn, which a CPM can't do, you will be fine. The tubes are meant to withstand the temperature held within so no worries! You won't be scalded or injured!
