Damage nerve in left leg?!
Question: well, to make a long story short i'm a diebtc, anyway 1 year ago i had really bad infection in my leg, soooo they did a whrool pool treatment to drain it. anywho they cut the dead tissue on my foot really deep...i'm mean REALLY deep, they send me home 2 weeks later but i had to come back everyday for it.
so I see my leg or bone DR he sit down and said son, I have bad news, you will have nerve damage for the rest of your life.
he gave me lortab with codine....it was lortab 10/500 APAP and hydrocodone 10/500 APAP with 4 refills.
Boy oh BOY did the pain stoped, I feel GREAT and happy....I can go outside play with my dog and work with dad.
I say about 6 hours and BOOM the pain was back, i feel on the ground holding my leg and crieing, i said to my father...GO GET MY MEDS THERE ON THE TABLE BESIDE THE COMPUTER. he ran and got em....he said open yopur mouth son so i did...gave me some pipsi to swollow my lortabs...they was 2 so i took two of em.

sorry to hear about your leg i am also bad diabetic and have nerve damage to my feet and fingers. but if you read the leaflet that should have come with meds it does say they should be taken for short term as they are very addictive, as i have also had them presdribed to me in the past.
