CPR....Question about CPR Ration?!
Question: Okay....all you nurses out there or Medical assistants or PA;s or NP's.
You now how it works. THere is American Red Cross, American Heart Association and a couple of others I can not remember off hand..............but..........
Does anybody know the Compression to Breaths Ratios to all three.
I think American Heart just changed to 30 compressions to 2 breaths for BOTH 1 and 2 provider.......is that true?
help me out here. I'm arguing this with a couple of other folks...LOL.

that is true.....there is more emphasis on circulating the blood that already has oxygen in it then putting oxygen into the system. That is why they changed to 30/2...plus its easier this way
2 breaths to 30 compressions. I actually just attended a CPR class and was told it had changed.
