Hip cracking?!

Question: Hi, im feeling like a crack in my hip when i move my leg from a high position to a low position vice versa, is this normal, ive actually just started muay thai, and i train regularly, stretch regularly, is this normal? im thinking im getting it from the force of the rotation im putting on my body, do i have to take it easier on the rotation? or is it my body just adjusting itself towards the stretching, if neither what should i do? oh i started about 2 weeks ago, and im not feeling any pain, its just getting me paranoid o.o

thanks!

the hip joint is over rotated and your hip is making a popping sound do to displacement. It is not in the place your body calls normal for you. Your body is trying to put it back into the body's choice of positions for your hip.

To stretch out a leg like this is normal if you work up to it, but over working it and not building it up is bad. Do warm ups to stop this with your leg higher then your hip on a table top or the back of a couch, then lean into the leg and back and then repeate this for about 10 times each leg, before working out.

Stop doing this stuff for a while and see if you feel better???

You make a wrong move. Muay Thai movement is very complex. You need a pro to teach you how to do that.

The correct movement will be very fast ,long distance attack with out pain in muscle. If you feel pain or hurt something then you make it wrong.
