I used to use vasaline for so long but it didn't really help to HEAL my dry skin.

If after some time you notice that it's not working, try using Coco Butter. That seems to work the best for me!

But maybe it'll work for you, who knows? But like everyone else said, use less!!

Use less of it dude

yeah

its good for your skin as it doesnt have any nasty chemicals or parabens in it. but rub it in loads more! or it will be sticky and feel gross!

superman that hoe

yeah, use a bit less of vaseline and rub it in a lot more. IF you dont rub it in it wont have an affect on your epidermis(outer layer of skin). Just rub it in more and use less of it. otherwise when you sweat or take a shower the water droplets will get stuck due to the lubricant.

It's the petroleum jelly you're using, right? Petroleum jelly is really, really thick. Less is more. What I do when I use it is I wet the skin I'm going to use it on (usually after a shower) and SPARINGLY apply it on your skin. As the water dries, it will take some excess jelly with it and the rest is left to sink into your skin. Even using it with water, it is possible to use too much and have that same feeling. Try not to use more than two fingers full.

vaseline is my families secret fountain of youth! rub it in as much as possible...then with a dry clean towel...wipe off the exccess amount...until it feels as if you did'nt put any on...trust me....your skin will have absorbed what it needed!

Use Vaseline LOTION....Vaseline makes a great lotion for extemely dry skin. After you shower, apply a good coat of this to your skin and rub gently to work it in, it will dry to the touch within a few minutes, use that time to perform nail care, do hair, shave, whatever.
Vaseline petroleum jelly is excellent for your skin, but yes, it will stick to clothes. Try the jelly in the jar for your feet and chapped lips, hands and burns or chapped skin due to extreme cold or wind.
For softening your feet overnight, wash feet thoroughly, dry. Then apply a good coating of Vaseline jelly to the bottoms and then all over the foot, cover your foot with a clean white sweat or walking sock, usually these are not tube socks, but use whatever clean, white sock you have in the drawer. The socks will absorb some of the jelly, but it washes out easily in warm water. Do this on a regular basis and your feet will feel wonderful and soft.
