To stop the bleeding wash it with clean water and dry it using a clean towel. Pressure should be applied to the cut with your fingers, if the cut continues to bleed. If it is still bleeding then put on a dressing and use some tape to keep it in place and go to your doctor. The doctor will then decide if the cut is deep enough to need stiches. I hope your fingers is alright soon and I helped a bit :)

U probably need stitches. Speak 2 a doctor since its continuing to bleed

Go to A+E/Emergency Room if it's very bad, they will clean it properly and either stich/suture it or probably apply steristrips to the wound to keep it closed and help it heal.

Need more information, as you don't mention length of cut, or how deep it is. If it's the top of the finger it should be ok, but if it's the fatty underside of the base of the finger it might need the steristrips.

Edit:
In that location I would apply something like germoline at home and clean it regularly, and apply a light dressing from the pharmacy if you know how. Just a small piece of gauze and tape it on! They should be able to sell you the first aid kit. I wouldn't rush into hospital shrieking over that. If it's really open, get the steristrips from a nurse in the hospital, but use your common sense.

see a doc.

Sounds to late for first aid. Simple First aid requires you to clean the wound, disinfect or sterilize it, apply pressure and a clean wrap every few hours. If this has been going on for 3 days you are past the first aid step and need to see a nurse or a doctor.

I would be concerned with how I got the cut. You may have an infection and suffocating the wound for days likely did not help.

Why would you cover it with plaster?
