Why does my eyelid keep getting stuck and not tuck in like it should everytime I!

Question: Ok so my left eyelid keeps getting stuck like every second of the day. This happened about 2 days ago. My right eye is perfect smooth as can be and the eyelid is perfect and I can lbink perfectly without my eyelid gettin stuck. What is wrong with my left eye?? I wear contacts but I dont think thats it, but then again it might be. Basically it feels like my eyelid grew more skin ans it all jsut doesnt wanna tuck in when you blink like it should?? HELP!!! When I splash my eyes with with water my eye blinks fine and doesnt get stuck but then after like a minute it will go back to gettin stuck, I guess cuz the water dried. What should I do? Ive been putting vasoline and neosporin over my eye the past 2 days and its not helping it relieve the stickiness.

Hmm, I've had this problem a couple times before, although, I must say that it is slightly different seeing that I do not wear contacts. However, my situation is similar to yours, when I woke up one morning, my eyelid looked unsymmetrical to the other, with the eyelid seeming wider than normal, as if I had two eyelids. I tried water as well, but it found it did not work too, going back to the "stuck" position after I blinked again. I even tried lightly pulling on it to see if it would snap back into shape if you know I mean. Eventually I just left it alone seeing as that may be the safer route and it worked. So as a result of my findings, although they are not medically professional, I highly suggest that you do not put any foreign objects in your eye other than your contacts to see because it may irritate it even more and the condition may worsen. It will go back to normal eventually unless it is the result of some allergic reaction which may also be possible but from the way you describe it, it sounds like the problem I had (and have occasionally)..

1) don't try to treat it yourself, so stop putting vasoline and water on it, because you could be making it worse
2) go to your doctor, seriously: it could be anything like an allergic reaction to your contacts, small seizure, bad allergies, or like an allergic reaction to something else.
3) stop using your contacts and go to your eye doctor first...and if they can't fin anything wrong w/ u there i would go to ur primary care doctor
4) GOOD LUCK!!!!

:XOX

Okay, basically, what you have to do is go to your dcotor. You may have had some allergic reaction that has caused swelling or friction. You dont know what it could be, so go to your doctor just in case XD
