I stretched my ear and now it is swollen?!

Question: yeah so i stretched my 4g to a 2g last night and i've never had any problems before at all and i am stretching my ears myself, but now it is swollen and slightly red. there is only a little pain (occasional twinges) and no bleeding. just wondering if there is anything specific i should do besides soaking my ear in salt water and cleaning the tunnel with disinfectant.

mmmmnope, that's all you really need to do. If you notice any kind of puss or nastiness go to a doctor and have them give you an antibiotic.

also, what is your new plug made out of? there may be something in it (like nickel) that you are allergic to.

don't listen to these other people, they're idiots. go gauging!

well wat did u expect lol

What you mean you stretched your ears?!

self mutilation..its probably over stretched now and you probably infected yourself. Just keep caring for it and dont turn your ear into a strainer, youll end up having it amputated in the end. I hope you didnt damage a nerve to have permenant pain. That will suck.

well, you will have to deal with your weird behavior by yourself, why would we help you fix some problems with your dumb ideas. You want it, then stop complaining..

sounds like you know the drill to keeping it under control. try takind Advil or Tylenol to soothe the stinging. =]

Take a shower, wash your ear good with a mild soap and shampoo your hair.
Then leave it alone until it looks and feels normal.
If it gets worse, see a doctor right away.

There is nothing else really you can do, you probably shouldn't have stretched it out that much in one go, but maybe you should let it close up a bit because the earing is obviously causing an infection, if not and if the pain is going down then just continue what your doing and it should heal by itself good luck and be carefull

that should take care of it

ha ha ha ha that what you get
