Is sleeping for more than 8 hours good for u or is it bad ?!

Question: HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOUR BODY? or does it

Answers: HOW DOES IT AFFECT YOUR BODY? or does it

Oversleeping is bad - it makes you sluggish. Sleep goes in cycles, as you go through the stages of REM sleep, if you oversleep you disrupt the cycle.
You can't store up sleep - if you haven't slept for a long time then sleeping for more than 8 hours will be good for you, but if you have been sleeping regular hours there is no advantage to sleeping longer, and it will make you feel lethargic.

its very good :)
it affects it well, gives it more energy for the next long or short day.

Heals and helps you not gain weight. Im going to sleep right now. Thanks for reminding me!

I think the optimal sleeping time is 7-8 hours, unless you are sick, in which case you should get as much sleep as possible. Excessive sleeping can be a sign of depression.
