The back part of my head hurts....?!
Question: It's been killing me since yesterday and now the side of my head hurts as well. I admit that things have been very stressful in school and I do get headaches, but nothing ever like this. This one is in a class of its own. I can't even concentrate on anything and the more I move, the more it hurts.
I really don't know what to do and I can't go to the doctor anytime soon (I have way too much to do for school). Do you think it's a tension headache or something else? what can I do to relieve it?

could be a migraine or cluster headaches. I used to get them in high school and I would be out for like a day or two until I went to the DR and got some medication. I don't remember what it was but I would take it when I felt the headache coming on and it would pretty much knock me out for a couple hours, then when I woke up it would be gone.
Living with those headaches is no way to live. Until you can get to the DR, try Excedrin Migraine. Be careful though, I had a friend get addicted to them so that if she didn't take them she got a headache. Start by just taking one, it may make you feel a little shaky but it should do the trick.
You should go to the doctor as soon as possible because it could be something serious, Headaches are nothing to take lightly anymore. YOu could be suffering from an anurysm and are bleeding on your brain and if thats the case you should get there really quickly. There are a few other things however that could be causing your headaches, exercise or sex induced headaches happen to some ppl usually in the back and sides of the head, also there is cervicogenic headaches this happens from usually an injury to the back of the neck or spine. If your head is still hurting by this time tomorrow definantly drop everything and go to the doctor because this could be a life or death matter. All they will do is give you a Cat scan check to see if your brain is bleeding (they dont hurt) give you a check out and make sure everything is ok if it isnt nothing serious then they will send you on your way but its better safe than sorry..
It could either be a bad migraine, or a brain aneurysm. This is something you should go straight to the doctor about just in case. My husbands uncle had the same thing and it kept getting worse, every time he moved it got worse, and it got to the point where he couldn't even get up. He said it felt like something was literally moving in his head. He was rushed to the hospital and come to find out, he had a brain aneurysm. Don't let this go. You better go see a doctor just in case. Better safe than sorry. Hope this helps.
