Would it hurt if you snapped spinal nerves in your lower back?!

Question: I was at my college gym a few days ago and got onto one of those rowing machines. The person that was using it before me had left the handle bar up. I had already strapped my feet in and someone rowing to my left said "just reach it", when I was trying to reach it, he gave me a push forward (from my left side) so I felt about two crackles (or snaps) in the left area of my lower back. I didn't hear them. After doing some research I found out that there is only one joint in that area, the sacroiliac joint, which looks even closer to the middle than where I felt the crackle. My other concern is that it could have been one of the S-level spinal nerves in that area snapping. When I felt the crackle, I didn't feel any pain or sensations. I'm just really concerned because I don't think I've ever felt a crackle in that area. Basically it was in the lower back in the left hip area, it wasn't at the front or at the bottom, so it couldn't have been the hip joint. Thank you.

If you are not experiencing pain, then don't worry about it. If you injured your back, or a nerve, or a muscle, or anything else, trust me, you would know!

You posted this earlier stating it was a break to your sacroiliac joint? If you snapped spinal nerves you would be paralyzed as you are typing these questions, you have not damaged yourself. Best of Luck
