Is this bad, poison?!


Question: hey i was at my friends house today when i got something in my eye form one of the trees, im not sure what tree it was but it stung and burnt. i imediatly washed my eye and it feel better i still get a bit of burning. i washed it again and then 30 later for about 5-10 miniutes, so i washed it as well as i could,my vision seems to be perfectly fine,

do you think there is a cahnce of vision decrease or any damage.

You did the right thing in washing it out. Often what you will find is that a foreign item will scratch the eye, in which case washing it will not repair the damage. The good news is that the eye is one of the fastest repairing parts of the body, if it is just a scratch then it should be noticably better within 24hrs.
If you wake up the following day and still have problems then get it checked.

you probably scratched your cornea. that can be very painful and can feel irritated and sore for many days afterwards. if you think that there is something still in your eye, go to the emergency room and let them have a look.

yes, if you keep messing with a corneal abrasion and it develops an infection or ulcerates then you can have decreased vision in that eye or lose your sight in it altogether.
