Bad Head aches .......?!
Question: Ever since nose it's been 3 months since my nose surgery and iam still haveing head aches they gave me 2 types of head ache medication and it still dosent work the only thing that works is tylanol #3 & #4 , vicodin & sometimes darvacet. Motrin 800 don't work immitrex don't work and some other head ache med dosent work my ENT says i suffer from migrains sometimes they give me narcodics and sometimes they don't and i don't know what to do any help the only thing that helps me is narcodics. I know how you can get addicted iam not but i need them ive tryed other non narcodic pain meds and they don't work and then when they do give me a non narcodic pain med i always look it up online and see what it is and the side effects this one med causes heart problems. I don't know what to do can anyone help iam seeing a new ENT on the 4th of april.

A few years ago I was having headaches and migraines with the aura and pain.....everyday it was horrible.....black shades on the windows....and sometimes vomiting. I started seeing a acupuncturist and she got rid of them with needles and herbs.
Even if you surgery was from trauma an acupuncturist can speed up the healing process.
try caffine. like soda or something with lots in it. caffine is supposed to help with migrains.
Only a specialized doctor can help you and I doubt a professional doctor can give you a diagnosis over yahoo! answers. Sorry, I can't help. Many of us have been there and we wish you the best.
I'm glad you are seeing a specialist because you shouldn't still be having so many problems. I get migraines and those meds. or a combination of them should. Some combine Maxeran and gravol for a good effect. Do you see a chiropractor? You might have put something out during the surgery and be suffering from an undetected source. Ask your ENT about it before getting an adjustment.
I've found that a combo. of chiropractics and massage therapy can really help.
