It was swollen and if i move it the least bit it hurts.Im going to the doctor today but i want your thoughts. I CAN bend my fingers pretty good but i cant straight them but i cant bend my thumb. Hello,
Ouch!
You have done something to it. When I broke both of mine I was somewhat lucky and went into shock. My right one sound like what you are talking about (the left one was a compound fracture and everyone could see the bone and it was broke).
They put me in a heavy cast (well both of them), but today things are different. That one healed quicker for me and I think 6 weeks .
I broke the left one again a few months back and it felt like my hand was on fire. Soon the pain for the most part went away (or I got used to it?).
There are so many bones in our hands and feet. I sure hope everything goes good and I am sure it will.
It does sound like you messed it up :0( They do have some funky neat casts these days, not those old white things.
Wish you well!

You probably have a buckle break. This is pretty much breaking your wrist. You should definatly go to the docters. and get it checked out

Yes, you have a fractured wrist, cunsult an orthopediac immediately.

sounds like it,they will put on a cast

Sounds like a break and you will be put in a cast.

I sprained my wrist and thumb and was able to move the fingers so if you can not bend the thumb or straighten the fingers out most likely a break

I wish you a speedy recovery.
