Trouble sleeping on Sunday nights?!

Question: I just can't convince myself to fall asleep! I don't drink a lot of caffiene, so that couldn't be it.
Please don't recommend any sleeping medications.
Thanks.

Hey! Do you have a fairly regular sleeping pattern? If you don't go to bed around the same time and get up around the same time, this can greatly affect your body clock. Having a warm drink before you go to bed can help you sleep easier. If you still can't sleep, sometimes all you can do is just do something to take your mind off of things - such as watching tv or reading a book until you do feel tired.

If you still can't fall asleep then i would definitely suggest speaking to your doctor, this may or may not get worse. You can tell them that you don't want to go on any medications - they may be able to suggest other methods for you. I hope you feel better soon. Good luck!!!

ok sure

take some time and do some stretches. take a couple minutes to just sit down in a quiet environment think about absolutly nothing, and just breathe in and out (deep breaths). make sure you dont eat right before you go to bed, as it will make your stumach not so happy. trying to eat less sugar is another way or at least not so close to bed.. try and have a glass of milk before you go to bed or even read!... in summary... do low energy consuming things that relax your body and mind

This probably sounds corny, but I find for myself, reading a book in bed helps me to relax, and grow tired.

if you were in school i would say "fear of school and all the work you have to do tomorrow"
