Hip still hurts after chiropractic care. What now?!

Question: I have been to the chiropractor multiple times and it seems to help for about a week. He said it was bursitus and he even did an ultrasound to help ease the pain. My left hip hurts almost constantly. The pain is also in my lower back and upper thigh. What can I do to help this pain go away if even chiropractic care isn't working?

Go to a real doctor. If what the Chiropractor is doing is not working stop going. I let a chiropractor treat my neck after an accident. After about a year of getting worse I went to an Orthopedic doc. To make a long story short the Chiropractors 'adjustments' partly caused me to have permenent nerve damage and have 2 cervical spine operations. I've been disabled because of it for 10 years.

I'm sure the chiropractor freaks will give me thumbs down but I wouldn't let some of them touch my dog unless a MD said it would help. There are a lot of good ones out there I guess, but the bad ones can hurt you, forever

You may get lucky, there are a few guys on here that say they are Chiropractors that seem to have good advice. They will tell you to go to a specialist if they wouldn't be able to help.

I have bursitis also in my hip. It is very painful. I would go see your family doc and ask him or her what kind of anti inflammatory you can take to help reduce the pain and swelling.
I am not a doc but I do go to a rheumatologist for other problems and that is what they did for me.

If a chiropractor isn't working, then try going to an orthopedic specialist.

See a orthopedic doctor...maybe you need some steroids for awhile...

You should go to an M.D., a lot of opinions differ on chiropractors but from the sound of your question yours isn't working. In that case a chiropractor could be injuring you more so get checked out by a pro.
