Question: I felt something today ..I was checking for my necklace and then I felt something hard like a little pea near my right tonsil and it really hurts..what can it be?

probably a residual thyriod..its nothing..i have it too..just a thyriod nodule that never descending when you were growing up..its harmless...if it only hurts when you touch it a wierd way .. then its fine..if it continues to be bothersome..just check it out with your doctor

possibly a swollen lymph node? Allergies to a certain food.You may have strep throat. Your throat doesn't necessarily have to hurt for it to be strep. Get it checked out by a doctor just to make sure. Good Luck.
