My dad having muscular spasms. Help?!
Question: Well my dad recently has had one of his muscle spasms, it seems extremely painful for him, as he can only take short breaths and cannot speak. It is mainly in the left chest area, and travels down his body. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is it normal? And how can we relax the muscles automatically? Thank you.

Dear it doesnt seems normal muscle spasm,,,it may be having some cardica problem...since it spreads.
even if you find it routine spasm..you can apply hot (warm) water on it or you can use some muscle relaxant cream on it.
Best way is to consult doctor and get it cured.

No, it's not normal. Chest pain radiating to other parts of your body, and shortness of breath can be signs of a Heart Attack! Does he also look pale, is he sweating, or weak? Don't take chances. Best advice here is to call 911.
this can be due to electolyte disturbance.
