Lift in moderate amounts, but look into some rehab exercises online. These will mainly be stretches and will help it heal without losing strength/motion etc. If you haven't talked to an athletic trainer/doctor/physical therapist, it wouldn't be a bad idea. They can give you spefics on how much you can lift and what you should stay away from.

let it heal all first

I injured mine a few years ago. The day my orthopedic surgeon diagnosed the problem, he prescribed an anti-inflammatory and then sent me right to a physical therapist. She told me exactly what i could and could not do (exercise with pulleys, stretch bands were ok - weights were not okay). Call your physical therapist or doctor and find out. By the way, it was the physical therapy exercises that got me through it without surgery. You need to be working with a P.T.
