What do you usually take when you have a bad headache or migraine?!

Question: Thanks!! :-)

Answers: Thanks!! :-)

I have very strong migraine. It is such a pain that I can't see light or hear any noise because it huts a lot. Advil for migraine works for me, but I discovered something really good and helps a lot with my migraines. Chocolate or coffee. The caffeine from them helps reduce the stress and eliminating the pain and it is better than pill in my opinion.

midol or advil

If I have a bad headache I usally use excedrin or Motrin. ut when I actually do have a migrain I take Maxalt. It is the only migraine edicine that doesnt cause bad side effects for me.

Try Tylonal rapid release thay work for me

Ibuprofen (advil or equivalent) works best for me, but my wife is unaffected by anything that doesn't contain aspirin. So I think it depends on the individual's body chemistry. There are also some prescription-only medications you can ask your doctor about, and if you find the right one for you then it's usually more effective than any of the ones you can get at the drugstore. However, from what I've heard, even those have a tendency to have diminishing returns after you use them for a couple of years.

Ok this sound weird but try it, I swear it works. First take a pain killer (I like excedrin or aleve) then take something like Vicks vapor rub and rub it on your temples. the cooling sensation as well as the vapors help to alleviate the pain.

I would take Some Tylenol(Extra Strength). Or Other pain Relievers. Sometimes, For me Eating Oranges, Then going to sleep helps the pain go away.
