I've had headaches everyday for months, wondering if anyone knows anything i!

Question: Started getting my headaches in August 2007. Had my eyes checked, teeth checked, x-rays, catscan, everything came back normal. No pain killers work, and the few types of prescription drugs I've been on haven't worked either. I have an appointment with a neurologist in May, but I was wondering if anyone's had the same problem and know of some way to cope. I know there are people out there, after searching answered questions, but I'd rather not search through them all. :) Thanks!

pl see what suits you.
If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.
If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.
Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

I too have been having horrible headaches for months. (and other odd symptoms which I just posted about)...

i notied certain pain meds WORSEN my headaches..such as vicodin.

Alot of people have given me the advice NOT to wait for the head ache to start, to treat to prevent...take meds as directed.

For me ...i need a dark QUIET room, with plenty of pillows to pile over my head, no motion and no sound! (LOL)....fantasy land???! LOL

Keep me posted, I would love to have the answer too!
Hope you feel better!

less stress, relax more and hopefully they will be gone!

The only thing I can think of is blood pressure issues... when your blood pressure is higher you do get headaches..
Blood pressure changes regularly... so it might be during certain times or events in a day that you get them.
You should get some blood work done, or maybe you already have. Just a thought.

I had the same problem. I was put on birth control and that helped to regulate the issue. I had my eyes and everything checked out also. Many prescriptions didn't work for me also. I did not go to the neurologist (yet), but the birth control has eliminated most of my headaches. I started out on Seasonique, and now I am taking Lybrel. I went from having a headache every day to about 1-2 times a month. I hope they figure it out for you, I know how bad it sucks having headaches all the time.

You know... with the alternative medicine boys, headache is often seen as a problem in the large gut.

I've often heard this from acupuncturists. You might try increasing water consumption - push fluids, as they say - and eat plenty of brown rice and beans for a while. Get that large gut moving. And you might see if you could talk to an acupuncturist as well. They'd be cheaper than the neurologist.

Good luck with that - it doesn't sound like much fun.

Could be a migraine? when it hits try and close all curtains and wear dark sunglasses and turn off all lights in the house, if that makes your headache not as severe than most likely you are getting a migraine headache.
