What is a good pulse wile just sitting down doing nothing??!

Question: Hi. Yes 60-80 is a good pulse there are many other things that can effect your pulse. the Dr's consider anything under 100 as OK and over that is when it is considered tachycardia. A pulse under 60 is considered bardycardia. Even if you are sitting around doing nothing you can still be thinking about things and be stressed with out realizing it. The best way to know what your normal is as we are all different and it also depends on what medications you are taking is to take your pulse before you get out of bed in the morning. That is when your body should be the most relaxed. Then take it after getting up and moving around for a while then sitting down to relax. Then take at night to see what it is. Good way to see what yours is and how stress and activity can effect it. Just some added info to understand how everyday life affects us. Yours may be normal at 88 while mine is normal at 70 so we are all different. Just stay above 60 and below 100 and your good. When exercising expect higher and at times we can drop below 60 as long as it is not all the time. Hope this helped, if any questions about what i wrote feel free to ask.
