Oh crap...jammed finger?!
Question: i was outside practicing my catches, and i am pretty sure i jammed my finger trying to catch a bullet pass. I have ice on it, and just took an advil but I want to know, what can I do to speed up the process?? I have practice tomorrow, and a game on thursday. Many will say "tough it out" but that is very hard to do..fingers are the worst injuries (at least for me) to try to "tough out." I am not trying to make it worse..
ok here is what i can tell you over the internet..
- i can move it, not much but a little
- it has swollen up
- when i try to bend it, my joint that does all of the bending hurts
- i tried to pull it. but it didn't pop. the pain isnt in the socket but in the joint
hope that helps..any advice?

last year at soccer practice i did the same thing...wear a metal splint (u can get them at any drugstore..) and take pain reliever(advil, tylenol, etc.) if its not broken, it should be better in a few days...good luck at your game!
First of all you can smack your hand with a steel or wooden bat. If that doesn't work your hand is like a horse. Shoot it and it will health faster
