I have a knee problem.?!

Question: I tore my ACL when i was in 8th grade, on which i had two surgeries. When i was in Michigan a little over a week ago, i was walking on a frozen over lake, and i forgot how to walk on ice, so i fell directly on that same knee. I had to sit there for about 15 minutes before i could walk again, and i had a limp for two days. Since then (about 10 days ago), i have horrible pains on the inside of my knee, but its on and off, sometimes it hurts like crazy, other times i forget i even have the problem. 3 days ago i was sitting infront of the computer, and when i got up and my knee straightened out, i heard a nasty crunch inside my knee. Same thing happened today.

Anyone have any idea whats wrong? I somehow doubt it has nothing to do with my ACL, but i figured id throw that in to be sure.

could be ur meniscus... i would go to the doc and have him check and when u go have him check ur ligaments just to be safe... although i think u may be right and its not ur ACL again... however it is always better to be safe then sorry

Crunching is usually torn cartilage, not ligaments. Falling directly on your knees with no twisting also does not sound like a ligament injury. Check with a doctor if it keeps bothering you.

It's doctor time.
