How hurt can you get from getting punched in the stomach area?!

Well, a blow to the abdomen was what killed Harry Houdini...but I'll bet you just got a little sock to the solar plexus. That'll make you forget all about how to breathe for awhile, and then whenever you do, it hurts for awhile.
Maybe you got a little bruising-ribs can crack pretty easily; especially the floating ribs.
Pretty hard to immobilize-your ribcage moves with each breath-so fractures can be painful for an annoyingly long time after the initial injury.

you shouldnt be worry at all.. unless u got hit in the stomach really really really really really really hard.
You should be more worried about why you got hit in the stomach
Not only can a severe punch kill you it could also affect your spleen. and well if that's get messed up , think about how you'd have to explain to people the reasons you're wearing a colostomy bag. peace and stay safe.
I once worked with a doctor whose sons had a fight , one hit the other in the stomach so hard he had to have a spleenectomy................
