Your'e actually in better shape having leather. The lice can't get into it. I'd go get some Bug spray bombs and just place them through out the house and leave for a while. These work well on killing lice, crabs etc. I'd wash all your bedding.

A woman I know who cleans peoples hair out from lice, told me that you shouldnt worry so much about furniture , just vacuum and throw away the vacuum bag or if you have a bagless vacuum clean the canister, do it for a few days and that is all. Lice cant live that long away from a scalp.
Just check everyone who was in contact with this kid for lice and wash the linen and towels in hot water and a hot dryer.
It seems more terrible than it really is.

Believe it or not you don't have to go crazy. To be on the safe side, wash and dry (at temperatures of 130F/54 C or more) bedding and clothing that has been in contact with the head of the infected person. Vacuum carpets or furniture upholstery. Soak hair accessories, combs and brushes in medicated shampoo or rubbing alcohol for an hour, or just throw them out. Pillows and stuffed animals that can't be washed can be bagged in plastic for two weeks. Pets can't get or transmit head lice. As far as you leather is concerned, vacuum it as well after you wipe down any leather or vinyl furniture with wet, warm cloth. If you are afraid that their might be nits left you can use some diluted vinegar to wipe it down, that will kill them as well. I know there are pesticides out there , but I would not recommend them, because they can be quite toxic.
