Trouble inserting my contact lens...?!

Question: I have soft lenses that should be changed every two months (according to the box). Last night was the final night in a two month cycle, so I threw my lenses away after I took them out for the night. When I took out my right lens, it was a little drier than usual. The lens still came out, but my eye was sore for a minute or so after I took out the lens. When I woke up this morning, I put my new lenses in, and the left one went in all right, but after I put the right one in, it felt like there was an eyelash in my eye. I took it out and put it back in the case of solution it came in, I thoroughly washed my hands, rinsed the lens with Alcon solution, and put it back in my eye. It still felt like there was a lash in my eye. I took it out, rinsed my eye with solution, rinsed the lens, and tried again. It still felt like there was a hair in my eye. Is it possible that when I took out my lens last night, I ripped or injured my cornea? Can that happen? It's nearly 5pm and my eye still hurts...

Heya I wear the same lenses and have this problem aaall the time!!
Yes it's very possible you have a little scratch on the eyeball and very common,
all you need to do is give your eyes a rest from contact lenses until the scratch has healed.
If you notice your eye is red, sore, watery and pussing, you may have an infection like conjuctivitis (don't panic!)

If this is the case, you can buy eyedrops over the counter or see your doc.

Also, check the new right lens for any tears or scratches too.

maybe ur wearing them the wrong way. like try putting them on from the opposite side
