I sprained my ankle about three weeks ago and it still hasn't completeley he!

Question: It doesn't hurt, but it's still swollen - why is it taking so long to heal? I might go to the doctor's, but it seems silly at this point.

Just relax! That is the kind of injury that takes a long time to heal.
So, just relax, rest, have help from your family AND the doctors. He might give you some tips to heal faster.
It will be gone in no time!!!!!

It could take up to six months to completely heal. I know, I know, a little sprain it hardly seems possible it would take that long but it does.

I would go to a doctor, 3 weeks for swelling to not go down is a bit long. You could have something more than a sprain. Better safe than sorry.

it is probably healed just swollen try icing it alot and keeping it elevated

You should mayb go to the doctor.
But idk becuz i have had a "sprain" for 8 to 9 weeks
It is swelled tender and everey thing....

well i sprained/hairline fractured my ankle 3 months ago and it still hurts. its normal it can take months to heal. just be patient.
