What is wrong with my finger?!

Question: Alright, so my little brother pushed me a few days ago, and I landed on my middle finger.
It did get swollen, and it did hurt, but i didn't think it was broken.
It's still swollen and it's been 2 days now, and I realized that i can't bend it down ( not because i'm too much of a baby to make it go down because it hurts, but because seriously it just gets stuck i don't know ..what is wrong with it)
did I break it..?

It doesn't sound broken it sounds like what ususally happens when your body is injured just more serious.

when extreme pressure or force (such as a fall) is applied to the body it responds by sending a liquid to form a "cast" around the area helping to imobollize it so that it can heal the cells that were destroyed.

just ice it and give it some time eventually you should be able to start flexing it again. slowly bend it back and forth to increase the flexability it has lost. only a little at a time though

no worries you'll be fine just give it some time. but if it doesn't improve in a week it could be a damaged nerve which would mean your brain is sending the message to bend but the nerve is no longer capable of recieving the message.

But it sounds to me like thats not the case

good luck hope this helps!

Sounds like a severe strain or a torn ligament. I would keep ice packs on it, and take Tylenol or Advil. If the pain persists, see your doctor. You might need an X-ray to make sure the bone is not broken.
