I just got stitches on my knee 4 days ago, is there anything I should do l?!

Question: I would just keep it clean. Dial soap and water...gently clean around it. If it's not draining...i would leave it open to air. If it becomes warm, red and drains anything but clear drainage, you should see your doctor! Good luck!

keep it clean, use a barely snug gauze bandage, apply anti-bacterial ointment occasionally, and wait 3 more days until the stitches can come out. Oh, and try not to bend your knee too much.

you should be very careful with it because it may get infected.

Here's one thing you can do: to reduce the amount of scarring that will naturally occur, you can purchase a small bottle of Vitamin E capsules, take one and prick the end of it with a straight pin, and put liquid on the wound directly, this will allow the wound to heal from the inside out leaving the outside soft until it is completely healed. Continue to apply heavily as often as you change the bandage and it will heal with lesser scar tissue. Hope this helps...
