Knee Pain Please help!!!! Whats wrong with my knee?!


Question: This pain is basically in my left knee. There is a litte pain in my right but only after hardcore work outs or games. The pain surronds the knee cap on the outer edge, and right before the tibia(front leg bone). It hurts a little, and more when i exercise. I can't walk down stairs really because my knee weakens. What is wrong with my KNEE!!!!
BACKGROUND INFO:
I am 16, a girl, and i've played Basketball for 11 years
I also participate in trampolining, running, soccer, mount bike
Please Help me figure out whats wrong!!!!!!!!!!

if i were u, i give my body a bit of rest for a while. i kinda want to say it mite be growing pain since the area of the pain is around the knee. also knees weakenin is a sign that ur knees are growin and the fluid around ur knee joints increase causin u to hav less control over it when u put ur weight on it. on the other hand, most of the sports u do takes a lot of jumpin and puts a good bit of stress on ur knee and joints, so u mite hav stressed it. dont do any sports for the next week or two and see wat happens,if the pain does not decrease for another week or so, go to the doctor, if not then ur fine. but take a towel and put it in hot water and cover ur knees with it in the morning and repeat for 5 minutes, then when u get home after skool, ice it for 5 minutes.

All of those activities would cause your knees to bend. Your rpobaly on it to much you should go to the doctor.

Try taking Glosimine Sulfate

Try ti relax, and during relaxing time u should do normal exercise everyday it will help u. i think u rplaying an dnot doing exercise properly that is the reason ur knee is paining.

start exercise and play with in ur limit.

go for a x-ray now. i also got this problem with my knee and had been rubbing all sort of oilment on it. but... after the x-ray scan , the real problem is not the knee but a urinal track stone that had built up inside me and pressing onto the spinal cord. (our nerve centre) and thus causing me few years of suffering.
go for the scan now and good luck.

You need to be evaluated by a doctor. Probably the doctor will order a X-Ray to check that knee.

sweetie it souds like your knees are saying "let me rest"!! its great your active, let your parents know im sure the dr. will say your over doing it with the activities and to take a break to see if it gets better dont be worried many athletes go through this even my daughter with a little rest she's better.
