Does hand sanitizer expire or have an expiration date?!
Question: hi, yes it does and you should find that on the bottle itself and if it comes as bulk and you can't find that information then just watch the consistency of the product. All the hand sanitizers that i have it is on the bottle. Also if you are in doubt the best thing to do is throw it out and get a new bottle. Hand sanitizers are just as effective as hand washing and more data is coming out to support this. This is not saying that hand washing is not good but germs are killed immediately with hand sanitizers. I hope this helps you out. I am a nurse and carry it on my person at all times. Some does, most don't. With some products you can find they start to seperate or even just react to the air. Of course leaving them open or in the sun will cause them to react in negative ways.
Mine had an expiration date on the bottle.
It;s basically alcohol, so over time it can lose effectiveness. So it doesn't really expire, but most bottles have an expiration date on them
Most hand sanitizers expire within a year sometimes six months.
