Do you think I can safely ride my motorcycle this season? I had rotator cuff rep!

Question: I had surgery to repair rotator cuffs (both shoulders) last year. I have successfully gone through physical therapy and am doing fine. I don't need any pain medications anymore. But will riding my motorcycle make the problems come back? I own a Honda Nighthawk 250 and want to save money on gas by riding it several days a week.

I really don't have experience, just common sense. If you're done with therapy, that's good. No pain?

If you keep up your exercises, pain stays away, try riding around your neighborhood. If that doesn't bother it--go for it.

Make sure that, even with your problem, you can steer the motorcycle out of an emergency situation.
