Sleeping!!!!!!!!!!!!?!


Question: Why is it when im sat in front of the tv after a day at work im shattered. But when i go to bed i cant sleep until like 3/4o clock in the morning?? Is this just me!!!

Another method is to enforce positive thoughts in your mind by speaking to yourself, as this improves your overall personality buildup as well.

Certain drugs and medications can also help you tide over insomnia, although self-medication should never be considered. Since insomnia is just a symptom, by taking drugs, you are not treating the condition as such. People with psychological conditions are difficult to treat for insomnia.

Hey I am the same - what's going on?!

nope. you are not alone. iam the same too. i cant sleep until it is really late night. i listen radio or music and can't really fall asleep.

Its how you arranged your sleeping. Its programmed into you and your body will do the same thing. You got fix yourself maybe try some tylanol PM until u can straten yourself out.

Its because you sleep when you're watching the tele. Try not to fall asleep in the day. Go to sleep when its time for you to go to sleep. I hope this helps

your having trouble shutting your brain down.tv doesnt work for me,reading for 30 mins usually does the trick,but the more you get stressed about not sleeping and looking at the clock the less likely you are to sleep.

Instead of gathering statstics of who all are like you, you should ask people, how to overcome the problem. I am sure there are many ways.

It`s called stress

I was the same.
what it is for me that tv or other relaxing stuff, relax me and stop me thinking of the problem in my life, important or not.
Yet, when I go to bed, there's no more that distraction, so mind is racing, and more it's racing, less I can sleep.
I managed to break that circle in differents ways;
*doing relaxation and meditation at bedtime (if new to relaxation and meditation, try book with CD "anxiety toolbox" from Gloria Thomas)
*playing games on my phones/small game console (some professional do not recommend that, but it works for me!)
*making love/having a nice cuddle (if you have partner)

AWW HUN WELL TRY THIS DO SUM EXERCISE LIKE PLAY BADMINTON OR GO SWIMMIN OR HEALTH SPA B4 BED AND WATCH HOW U SLEEP U GET DRAINED FRM THAT AND U DNT EVEN THINK TWICE IF U GUNNA SLEEP OR NOT U JUS DO. ALSO TRY PUTTIN ABIT OF LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL A FEW DROPS IN UR PILLOW THAT HELPS U SLEEP I HEARD.

Its because your tired after a hard days work. Try not to sit in front of the T.V. when you come home, instead take a warm bath, relax youself by listening to some good music,then have your dinner and have a glass of warm milk with a little haldi powder in it. Do some reading while you go to sleep, now see the difference. I'am sure it shall sufice your problem.

Try not watching Tv so close to bedtime. Turn it off when you go to bed, and if that does not work try this:
Think of something that is very particular. Don't let your mind race 100 miles an hour- focus on something. Try to remember all the details in a painting in your house, or something similar. It works for me. Also you can take benadryl- which is the Tylenol PM without the Tylenol. That should help you get sleepy.
I have a hard time sleeping too, and trying to shut my brain off works for me.

is your room dark enough?
your room should be as dark as possible
invest in some lavender oil and use it every night it really does work
