Does anyone know why my hand would be numb?!

Question: For the past couple days I have noticed that starting at my pinky and ring fingers on my left hand and straight down my palm has a slight numbness to it. It is essentially just the right hand section of my entire left hand. There is no pain and like I said the numbness is very light. When I squeeze it, those 2 right fingers are what feel odd. But it isn't really noticeable when it is still. I don't believe it is carpal tunnel since it isn't my thumb, middle or index finger which would seem to be the most affected if it were to be that. Plus it is not on both hands, only one. I've seen some questions that are similar to mine, but none have answers that make much sense.

If I understand youj correctly you are saying that your two last fingers are numb. You will possibly find that your entire pinky is numb but only 1/2 of your fourth finger. If this is the case you have an ulnar neuropathy to a small degree. It is because ther eis pressure on the ulnar nerv or there was pressure on it. It can come from a number of places nut the most common is your elbow at the funny bone. Have you been resting your elbow on something for a long time in the past few days? A long car rid? Rarely the problem can come from a problem in your neck, shoulder or wrist. I is mostlikely nothing to worry about. If it keeps up or gets wors or you get other symptoms see a neurologist.

Pinched nerve?
