ACL symptoms...please answer?... is it injured..?!

Question: what are the symptoms of an ACL injury... like where does ur knee hurt... all the sights that ive looked at dont really say where the pain is coming from....

here are some of my symptoms:
knee gave out... then felt very unstable
swelling
unable to bear weight without feeling of giving out
pain over inside of knee(moderate -severe)
pain deep in knee(under patella) (moderate-severe)
pain seeming to come from behind my knee but still within the joint(mild-moderate)
decreased ROM

im in an immobolizer, and can now bear some weight on my knee with the immobolier on but NONE without it on

in the ER the doc said my knee was unstable when he stressed my MCL and mildly unstable when ACL was stressed...

i go to ortho on monday... but want to know(ive already had MRI)

sounds like it may be ur ACL(sorry to say) as well as ur MCL...keep ur immobolizer on, and try to work on ROM...keep ur knee elevated and iced... good luck
