Any over the counter suggestions?!

Question: About a week ago I discovered that I had a bit of a rash along my butt crack. I put Balmex on it each night before bed and each morning after I shower, thinking that I just wipped too hard or something. Well the rash has not changed, it has actually evolved. It own feels as if I have a cut going down my crack and I has a soar at the very top. I switched to using Neosporan on it last night. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Do you have any over the counter remedies? Or this something I need to see a doctor about?

Hi, Do you have moisture in that area often? This could be yeast/fungal. There are several over the counter medications for this but your best option is to see a Dr. for a accurate diagnosis and treatment. I am a nurse and have seen areas like this but usually the person sits to long on their bottom or has moisture. I am not saying this is you so please don't take it that way. I am worried about you saying that you have a sore there. This is the reason i would see a Dr. for the correct Treatment to rid yourself of this bothersome rash. Good luck and i hope i was able to help you. If you need anything else please feel free to ask. I will be glad to help if i can.

sounds like hemmoroids. I would see a doc, but if you don't want to, try preparation H for a couple days. Clean with a wet cloth after each BM and put it on everytime you co into the bathroom. Clenliness is one of the #1 things with hemmoroids

It could be a yeast infection try some vagasil. Or if it's fungus (I know gross) but get an ointment for athletes foot. it Will help I promise. If it isn't either of those I would definitely go to the doctor.
