If you had a trauma then it could be a sprained ankle. If you are and older person or have a history of heart problems it could be congestive heart failure or a blood clot in your leg (if the calf muscle is warm to the touch). Your description is really broad so it's impossible to list all the possible problems. Get a doctor to examine you.

Maybe you sprained it, you should really go see a doctor before it gets any worse.

might b iron deficient or try to eat dates....and see whther it improves...and if u r above 30 then it might b gastric trouble...my sincere advice would b to consult doctor as soon as possible....take care

its definately something in your ankle because if it was your knee the pain would travel upwards
youve probably sprained it or torn a muscle dont put any pressure on it for a couple of days and it should be alright if it isnt see a doctor because it could be a fracture or some bad internal damage :)
get better!!

It could be number of things. Have you had any trauma to the area. It could be a pulled muscle. Have you been bitten by some kind of bug? There is really no way to diagnose this. The best thing to do is go to the doctor.

Have you been playing sport or done something that might of pulled a tendon because this would radiate the pain from the ankle to the knee. This will heal after a few days- to a week. If you are concerned go and see a dr, because they will beable to give you something for pain relief as this can be quiet painful.

Give it a few days to heal & chill out.

Sounds like a high ankle sprain, stay off of it for a couple days and ice it and take ibprofen. Then after a few days try to walk on it. You should be fine!
