Hey buddy, I hope that you have been to the ER by now but if not, yes they will give you something for the pain. Just let them know that you are on the medication so they can give you a strong enough shot to take care of the pain. Your body is used to pain and the pain meds so you will need a larger dose than someone that never takes anything. They may give something different than morphine depending on your allergies and what the Dr. likes to use. If they don't give you something then you got a jerk for a Dr. We all know there are many out there that do not like to give pain meds when needed or it is not strong enough to control the pain. They will do x-rays and possibly a ct-scan to see if anything shows up. I hope if this is you that you are only sore and that everything checks out good. Let me know if you need anything else and i will try to help. Good luck and take care of yourself.

Yes they can. I was on methadone and have had morphine shots before. Just make sure you tell them how much and for how long you have been taking methadone. Otherwise you risk an overdose. Good luck buddy and I hope they take care of you. I know how you are feeling.

Thats why I stopped taking pain pills. What if one day i am really gonna need it bad. Not like I don't now but I had the opportunity to wean off. Didn't have a clock to punch.

I asked this question a bunch of times.

yes they can give you morphine if you you are on methadone just tell them your methadone is not cuttin it for the pain

They can give you morphine if your on methadone. NOthing happens you it just stronger. Morphine is way stronger. They will give you the morphine and you continue to take methadone.
