HELP! i have an ingrown fingernail and need advice to make it better!?!
Question: well its been swollen for a few days now and does not hurt as bad as it did at first but still hurts very badly...i can see it sticking out and can feel the ingrown nail with another finger but cannot seem to get a hold of it with my tweezers to pull it out completely. it hurts super bad when i touch it the wrong way and jus want it out so the swelling will go down so i can use it. i need some advice...please help!

I have worked in a urgent care clinic for several years....the easiest thing we can do for an ingrown nail is take a piece of dental floss and floss the ingrown nail out. It works almost every time. If the redness and swelling doesn't go away after a short time please see your MD for an antibiotic.
Go see your doctor.. thats normally what people do when they have ingrown nails.
omg i totally know wat ur going through. i had to go to the doctor to get my ingrown toenail taken out. he injected it with novocaine and i didnt feel a thing, he dug it out and it was all over. i havent had an ingrown since!! so yea u should definetly go to the doctor.
