Is it possible for a night splint to fail to stretch my achilles?!

Question: my heel doesn't seem to go all the way in the splint which doesn't stretch my achilles at all and it just makes my feet fall asleep. should i bring it to my physical therapist would he be able to fix it?

It depends on if it was prefabricated or custom made for you. If the PT made it for you, yes, it should be adjusted as appropriate. If it is a prefabricated splint, there might be little to no adjustment of it; however, your PT can certainly take a look and advise you further.

If it cannot be adjusted, you might certainly need a custom fit splint or at least one that allows you to progressively alter the progression of the splint (such as a dynasplint). Depending on what your PT offers, he/she might address this or refer you to an orthotist or special splint vendor.
