On my right foot, the side bone (not my ankle, but next to it) hurts REALLY bad!!


Question: Everyday it hurts, all day long. why? its sensitive to the touch. i play sports a lot but i'm unactive right now and it still hurts, just as much when in season.

Okay, I have suffered this to and the best thing to do is to apply ice until you can get around without too much pain, THEN apply heat to speed up healing. Scince you do play sports try stretching it some as well with excercises usually intended for leg pains, devote at least 10 hours of sleep for the fist week and you should feel better by the end of next week.

You may have injured your Achilles tendon. It is a very painful injury and one that is slow to heal. You might try wearing an ankle brace and apply heat whenever you can. Keep the ankle elevated as much as possible and, this goes without saying, stay off it for a couple of weeks. You should probably use crutches for a while.
The only way to be sure is to see a doctor, of course. A really bad injury may require surgery.
