Is An Accidental Bleach-On-Foot Contact okay?!

Question: I was taking a shower this morning and saw a bit of water in the tub, but I thought maybe my sister had showered earlier and the water just wasn't draining (we have a bit of a problem with our drain, it takes a while.) So I turned the water on, and when I stepped in, I thought that the water felt REALLY cold, but I assumed that my sister had showered a while back. When I stepped out of the shower, though, my mom asked me, "Did you pull out the drain-stopper?"
"What?"
"I bleached the shower this morning and left the bleachy-water in the shower. did you pull the stopper and let it out?"
"Uhh..."

So, what I need to know is - will this accidental dosing of my foot in bleach (I assume it was diluted by the water, but I know nothing of fact) hurt me?

I know I'm probably being paranoid, but...

skin takes a while to absorb fluids. With the continuing flow of water from the shower from when you used it, there should be no worry at all about being poisoned. You will be fine.

If it was going to cause a reaction you'd already know it, doesn't take long. It sounds like it was diluted enough to eliminate any problems.

no

Nothing bad will happen. Your feet will be extra clean.

You're fine, if you had too much bleach exposure, you would have gotten a burn.

no it wont hurt you rinse off with soap and water

You're being silly, not paranoid.

As long as you washed it off, you should be fine.

Nothing is going to happen to you.

No, as long as you rinsed your foot pretty good. If anything, your foot will probably start peeling. Good Luck!

It shouldn't do much. just make sure your foot is clean of all the bleach.

if your skin shows irritation then i would seek medical attention.

nothing should happen u should be ok the only thing i can thnk of is u may get some dry skin if u washed off with soap & water add some lotion to ur feet should be good : )

SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Flush skin with water.
Contact a physician if irritation or discomfort persists.

CORROSIVE to the eyes. Injures eyes, skin and mucous membranes on contact. Harmful if swallowed; nausea, vomiting, and burning sensation of the
mouth and throat may occur. No adverse health effects are expected with recommended use.

Occasional clinical reports suggest a low potential for sensitization upon exaggerated exposure to sodium hypochlorite if skin damage (e.g., irritation) occurs during exposure. However, clinical tests conducted on intact skin with similar products found no sensitization in the test subjects.

No symptoms, No harm

Glad you are OK
