Hi there, let me start by saying that I know how awful back pain can be and that alot of people are afflicted with it, but in your case, quick fixes you may read about could be dangerous for you so please keep that in mind.

Spinal Stenosis/Congenital stenosis in a nutshell is the narrowing of your spinal canal. Your MRI seems to state that yours is narrowing from L1, which is the 1st vertebra of the lower lumbar region (middle of your back)to S1, which is the start of your tail bone. That pretty much means that your whole lower back in effected. With this conditions can come horrible nerve compression which will cause the weakness in your legs and your sensitivity to touch. It also seems that you have Mild Osteoarthritis in your lower back and that can cause alot of pain, especially this time of year when the weather is so humid. Humidity is awful for arthritis.

That is all that I feel comfortable writing about, because this is a pretty serious thing you will have to contend with and I believe the best thing for you to do is find a good/great Neurosurgeon in your area and have them help you through this. There are many options and believe it or not, may not require surgery at all.
Hopefully you will start your uphill battle with this now that you have a diagnosis and I am sure that your Doctors can recommend a good pain management clinic if you don't know of one already!!

Best Wishes, I know you are in alot of pain and I hope you get some relief soon!

One of the most recommended treatments for back pain is yoga. But you need to be aware of the postures that can benefit you as some postures can worsen the problem. Here we give you a brief overview of the yoga postures that can help you. But these exercises should be performed slowly for a period of 5-10 seconds or till you feel discomfort. Do these postures under the expert guidance on a mat or soft surface.

Corpse: Lie on the floor with back on the floor. Relax and let your arms hang loosely by your side, palms downward and knees slightly outside. If you back hurts with your knees outside, you can bend them with feet flat on the ground. Inhale and exhale for few moments, releasing the tension from the body.

Cat Stretch: Crawl on all your fours keeping your back flat. Position your hands directly below the shoulders, fingers widespread and knees below the hips. Hold the head loose as you look down between the hands. Inhale and while exhaling, raise your back upward. Bring your chin close to chest to gaze at your navel and tailbone tucked below. Hold this pose and then return to the starting pose.
