Calf muscle question?!


Question: If I was to do calf lifts on stairs- twice a day- 30 of them,....over time, would they get toned? How long would you say it could take to tone them/make them bigger?

They would get toned, after you've done this for a while and it's gotten easier add some weight. Grab a couple cans of peas, or a couple of large books, one for each hand(make sure they weigh the same!). Anything that is heavy will work.
You should start to notice a difference within 2 weeks. Probably sooner!
If you have a community college near by or a local YMCA they usually have weight machines that work specifically on calves.
Also, lunges are good for calve, thighs, buns.

Yes they would but do not do them every single day. Do them every other day. You will not gain muscle if you don't allow it time to develop. So just do that and then let your muscles rest and you should have good toned calves.
