Anyone wanna help me with a problem with my ankel?!
Question: well last year i half-way ripped a ligament in the back of my ankle and the doctor put me in a cast i went through physical theraphy after then went bak to the doctor'n' he said i dont need surgery and that i need to wear a brace all the time , well now my ankle swells all the time and hurts quiet alot and i can never makeit stop, its like a pain right in the back ofthe ankle..
any help?

put something cold on it, but not ice - that may get it worse, a wet towel or so, change it as it warms up, if you put ice then tucke it in three sheets of towel. NO WARMING - it is tired as it is!!! and first in morning go to doctor, tell him your problem, if he tells its alright, just keep argumenting about your problem, its your body and no one understands and feels it better as you do, so if he keeps telling everythings fine, ask him to tell you to which doctors you have to go, better to be double shure, than have a life time problem!

sorry but you probably need surgery...I shattered my heel and have 10 screws permantely holding my ankle/heel together...
You should put ice on it when it sells up. then, if the pain will not go away, proceed with surgery right away! this is serious and u should of asked a medical doctor, not silly people on yahoo answers!
ankle. Go and see your doctor again. HOpe your ankle gets better soon.
You probably have tenderness and swelling as well as pain.

Ice
Compression
Elevation
