Well I assume that damn Methadone even at it's stabalized dose isn't doing a thing for you. After everything you told me, all the stuff you been on, I am suggesting this and only over faster acting Oxycodone because what you told me. And you don't want that stuff anyways. Save that for people with cancer. What about a high Dose MS-Contin? It seems like lower hitting opiates are what works on you. I mean personally what in the world where they thinking when your a guy on over 100mg's of methadone and than they give you a 15mg Morphine pill?????????? Might as well ate a Sweet-tart. It takes all kinds.

What are you doing, waking up withdrawing? Oh sorry, Break-thru. And you can't take the bloody methadone past 10pm it keeps you up, right? Man, you gotta get with your doctor on this. And it is a shame you have to be ran through the ringer with all this stuff.

take it easy.

And to answer your question. A damn Fentanyl patch?

Wine!

Tylenol 3 or if you can't get a perscrition get Tyleno 1's or 2's

Try Advil---I have RA and it works well for me.

Almost any pain medication can work if you take enough of it and at the right time, but depending on the condition you might not be able to expect to be in "no pain" in the morning. OTC medicine like ibuprofen or 12-hour Tylenol should take you through the night . Some prescription medicines like hydrocodone or codeine or even oxycodone will usually wear off before the night is done. If you are looking at long-acting prescription medicines (>8hrs), then your choices include Oxycontin, MSContin or other long-acting morphine compounds (Kadian, etc), or the Fentanyl patch. However, if you are in pain in the morning because of muscle spasm then you might ask your doctor if you can use muscle relaxants (Soma) or even anti-spasmodics (Baclofen). Anti-epileptics (neurontin, Lyrica) are long-lasting and help with pain from neuropathies (diabetes, RSD). Antidepressants typically add about 10% to the analgesic effectiveness. You will need to do exercise and stress management in addition to taking medication for the best effect. - GDP
