How do I get my boyfriend to come to bed at a normal hour?!

Question: I sleep normal hours.. 11 pm until about 7 am. My boyfriend doesn't come to bed until I am almost ready to get up. It's beginning to affect our relationship. He sleeps during all my waking hours. Is he an insomniac? How can I help him get back on a regular sleep schedule?

So when does the boyfriend work? If he's a nightworker, then he's living the usual nightworker lifestyle. If he's not working, then yeah- he's got his sleep schedule messed up. And although everyone is suggesting a little activity to tempt him to bed, it won't necessarily tempt him to sleep. Lots of couples have offset sleeping schedules, usually because of job schedules. I don't know what bf is doing while you sleep, but that might be the reason he's not coming to bed. And it sounds unfortunately like you have more troubles in this relationship than the sleeping schedules. If you start pushing for "normal" sleeping hours, you might open a can of worms you would rather leave the top on. Then again, it might be in your best interests to at least peek at what's in the can.

put something sexy on, grab his hand and say, "i have something to show you in the bedroom". he'll come to bed. if he doesn't, he's gay and you need a new boyfriend...

give it up to him alot more!

Slip some ruffies into his bedtime drinkks. That will fix his little red wagon.

I suggest you talk to him about it. Does he value your friendship enough to please you and do as his body does naturally?
Does he sleep during the daylight hours? If he does, then he's not an insominac.
if not, he needs some help.

Let him know you are concerned.

insomnia is possible or an Intrinsic circadian rhythm disorder (check it out on wikipedia)... either way suggest going to a sleep specialist

Dress in lingerie, you dont have to say anything!!!

SET YOUR ALARM SO IT IS LOUD REALLY LOUD SO HE CAN HEAR IT EVER SINGLE DAY OR SAY GET UP NOW I MEAN IT

I'm guessing hes unemployed, hence able to lay around all day? Hes got his body clock all stuffed up by his sleep patterns now hes not feeling tired when he should.
You would be best to have a sit down talk to him and say you want to set some more logical times. Hopefully he will see the logic in having a normal sleep pattern, and loves you enough to want to spend as much time with you as he can.
Its hard for you to force it, you really need him onboard and wanting to change.

drug him.

saduce him (wink wink) ummmmmm feed him sleeping pills knock him out wow so much stuff you could do my fave is ask him set a nice mood and have a talk with him tell him ask him hope this stuff helps

Are you my girlfriend? Honey, I'm so sorry you feel that way, but you know I have insomnia and I answer Yahoo! Answers until 5am. What you need to do is make sure I take a Benadryl when John Stewart comes on, that always knocks me out. Also, make sure that computer is OFF, or I'm a lost cause. Make sure I can't find my favorite books either - I love those books, but they are going to kill me worse than cigarettes due to sleep loss and stress. Mythbusters On Demand doesn't help either - better make that 2 Benadryls.

make him sit in the corner
